The Stewardship & Trust Services Director’s role and responsibility is to devise and maintain a plan whereby members are encouraged to be faithful to the Lord in tithes and offerings as well as promoting the uptake of the Gift Aid programme. Further, it is also his responsibility to promote the conference wide development fund known as the ‘Church Building Fund’ and to assist churches in formulating plans for the acquisition and or development of church buildings. He is also responsible for providing members, through their local Stewardship directors, with materials on personal finance as well as conducting seminars on this same topic. Pastor DeLisser is also involved in the preparation of wills and monitoring their process. Why did you decide to start working for the church? What would you say are the challenges of your job?
